One complaint about the movie though -- TOM CRUISE????????? OMFG, he was even MORE annoying than usual to me!!!!!! I can't stand him to begin with, and this was like cutting me wide open and pouring hydrochloric acid in the wound! I kept hoping HIS character would get killed off just so I wouldn't have to listen to his annoying voice anymore! He came really close to ruining the movie for me, I tell ya. I'll never forgive the person who hired him....... But the rest were good in their roles. Think I might read the book sometime. I'll have to put it on my ever-growing list of "must reads"! |
| Curious Raven August 3, 2004 05:50 PM PDT i haven't seen that movie in so long, but i do remember it. however, i don't remember tom cruise ... hmm. i've always liked it. you should also read "that was then, this is now" {also by S. E. Hinton}. i read it a few years ago, i found a copy of it in james' books. it has the same feel to it as the outsiders. and a big anti drug message. matter a fact, they could use it for the DARE programs, heh. | ||
| Raine August 3, 2004 02:13 PM PDT OMG, that is one of my all time favourite movies! I loved that when I was a kid and growing up. The book is excellent, you def. should read it if you get the chance. As far as Tom Cruise goes, I don't have a problem with him. He seems ok. He's not my favourite actor. But he's alright. I'll tellyou who my HUGE crush is right now as far as actors go, Jaoquin Phoenix. I've had the hots for that guy since he was in "Space Camp" in like 1986 or something. HAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I totally crushed on him bad back then and I watched "Gladiator" the other day (for the 2nd time) and found my self 'in lurrrve' again. *sigh* That man is possibly the sexiest man in the world to me. Mmmmmmmmm yummy. | ||
